Where it comes from
Named for Florodora, the London musical that reached Broadway in 1900; in 1901 a New York paper described this raspberry-and-lime gin buck as invented for one of the show's famous chorus girls. Jacques Straub printed it as the Floradora Cooler in his 1914 bar guide.
