Affiliate disclosure

Make Simple Syrup is reader-supported. Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission. The price you pay is the same.

Amazon Associates

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Make Simple Syrup is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

Other programs

We may also participate in affiliate programs run by other retailers and networks (for example Impact, Awin, CJ or ShareASale). Links to those retailers work the same way.

How we choose products

• We recommend gear because it’s useful for making, storing or serving syrup, never because of the commission rate.
• Every "Check price" link names its store right beside it (for example amazon.com). We don’t hide destinations.
• We don’t publish prices by hand. Any price shown comes directly from the retailer and is time-stamped; prices and availability can change.
• Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored" for search engines.
